Here are a few selections of package design I have done within the past 7 years.
The body care line for MyBody Mandala is a project which we are still envisioning but i am really happy with the future packaging for this line. NOTE: this entire line and its package concepts is the property of Pinto Investments.
Tea packaging for Sacred Sleep - another project in the making is a pure delight to design.
Designing packaging for Don’t Go Nuts allows me to think like a kid. It’s a fun challenge to come up with something bright, colorful and playful. The little characters in the packaging are called Lulu and Lunk and we came up with a whole storyline about them which was so much fun. Please visit the website I designed at DontGoNuts.com
Also fun to start playing with ideas for an adult bar free of all 8 allergens - a future project.
Many of these products are concepts that have been in development under Pinto Barn. Please visit the site I designed for Pinto Barn: PintoBarn.com
I have been the Creative Director for First Crop since February 2019 - in this time, we have launched 28 products. All of which I have designed. We are continually updating and adding new products. Take a peek at the website - really proud.
Just a small selection of my favorites.

I would say that most of the work I do daily is promotional materials for the products that I have designed. I am only including here very few of my favorites over the years. I have not included any of the work I have done for Social Media. If you are interested, please don’t hesitate to ask for some samples.
I published 4 years of a small directory in Boulder called The Smart Book. After I sold that business, I took on two years of designing the entire content for the Crestone Journal.
Also included here are a few book cover designs.
A selection of a few covers I’ve done in the more recent past.

I am originally trained as an Interior Architect from UCLA. I worked for 5 years as a Senior Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering designing stores and restaurants. The two parks I was most involved with were Tokyo Disney Seas and Disney Studios Paris. I designed all the stores and restaurants for the Paris Park. I am only showing some of the drawings and photos of the Paris Park here. I really loved this project because my budget was small and so I decide to resort to using a lot of plywood and plumbing pipe in the two biggest areas - one store and one restaurant totaling 17,000sf each. I also designed the Studio Store which was more traditional - film/Disney as this park is supposed to feel like you are walking onto a Studio Film Lot. They actually have working films and artists on this property where people can see them working. One of the most fun parts of this park was Rock’in Rollercoaster - featuring a huge indoor rollercoaster in the dark with psychedelic lights to the music of Steven Tyler and his band. We recorded them and have them as part of the show in holographic form. I designed everything in this building from the Entry, the Queue, The Black Box where the rollercoaster ran as well as the small store at the end. So much fun and such a joy to work with so many hugely talented creative people.
After my contract ended with Disney, I went on to work for The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in LA for about 3 years. I designed about 35 stores for them in LA as well as Las Vegas. I am including a few sketches as well as shots of some of the stores I designed. As this is a template… it was more of a challenge to get creative but I did my best with all the…..OAK….eek.
There are many other individual projects I have worked on including an LA Showroom, a Spa in Boulder, Co, a big loft studio space in Santa Monica amongst others…if you would like to see more images please don't hesitate to contact me.

Model for a film capturing when a house gets hit with an earthquake.
Just a few samples of my drawings, paintings, sketches.
I am also including a few of my “functional art” sculptures…unfortunately all the other photographs were damaged but you can get a feel. Many of these tables were featured in a big Functional Art Gallery in Santa Monica and were sold. I also redesigned an advertising agency in Santa Monica using this same material - mass casting resin. I designed a huge 1000lb conference table as well as a bunch of vertical panels that were suspended in space with steel. You’ll just have to use your imagination on those ones but they were pretty cool!
In the more recent years i have really developed a deep fascination with photography. I am currently printing them out in large format and adding acrylic to create some fun art pieces. Here is a small selection of some of my current favorites.
